Literacy Programs

CHCTDC provides  educational development for youth and adults addressing literacy, GED preparation, Adult Basic Education, and remedial education. These programs are designed using a competency-based system that measures educational growth through pre-testing, instruction, and post-testing.

Programs are operated on six (6) month training cycles. Curriculums are developed using GED standards so that clients are prepared to take the test at the end of training. Educational curriculums have additional components that include life skills and job readiness training, thus allowing the clients to enhance their personal and professional qualities.
