About Hope for Ward 8
Hope for Ward 8 is a comprehensive program designed by CHCTDC to implement Mayor Bowser’s Covid-19 priorities listed in the DC Community Hope Grant Request for Applications.
Mayor Bowser’s priorities are as follows:
Hope For Ward 8 is a carefully planned community engagement project with the main objective of supporting national and local efforts set in place to prevent and stop the spread of COVID-19. Through funding from the government of the District of Columbia and our partnership with United Medical Center a District of Columbia government hospital the Hope For Ward 8 program will focus on COVID-19 awareness and prevention efforts on WARD 8 DC.
